Real Name: Anne Marie Cortez
First Appearance: X-Men (Vol. 2) #1, October 1991
Powers: Anne Marie Cortez was a mutant of undefined abilities. She never demonstrated her powers prior to her death, although she was once seen gesturing with her hand at an opponent, before realizing her power was negated. Her power may not have been physical, which would explain why she frequently wielded an energy rifle.
Post-death, her mutant abilities were listed to be enhanced agility, empathy, and mind control*.

*Secondary sources such as the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe and the Marvel Role Playing Game attribute the above listed powers to Anne Marie, though she never used them on-panel. This was presumably done to solve the mystery of why S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were seen working with the Acolytes.
She’s also Fabian Cortez’s sister.
