HELLFIRE CLUB II

History & Powers: This brief incarnation of the Hellfire Club’s Inner Circle was formed by Shinobi Shaw after he and his fellow Upstarts temporarily wiped out the previous Inner Circle. Shinobi abandoned the Club and fled from the public eye after learning of his father's survival and his Inner Circle was never heard from again.

Benedict Kine was born with the mutant ability to assume psionic command of the nervous systems of others. This allows him to control their physical actions, movements or spark individual neural synapses to cause bursts of pain or pleasure.

Benazir Kaur has the mutant power to manipulate metabolic reactions to some degree, artificially over-stimulating existing problems in a living being's bodily system. She has used her power to rapidly accelerate the growth of either bacterium, carcinogens, tar or cancerous cells in Gambit’s body, causing it to rip through the his skin. Though the effect seemed extremely painful and possibly fatal, it faded in a matter of moments after she was taken out, implying she had to sustain the effect consciously.

Reeva Payge’s mutant power is the ability to emit hypersonic frequencies from her vocal cords, beyond a human’s ability to detect sound. These frequencies violently disrupt the nervous system and inner ear of her victims, causing vertigo, blinding pain, paralysis, and hallucinations.
