Real Name: Edith Constance Sawyer

Powers: U-Go-Girl is a narcoleptic teleporter. Her mutant powers include a pale blue skin pigmentation and the ability to generate a space-warp effect, allowing her to transport herself and other people and objects instantaneously over vast distances. Using her power had a side effect of stimulating the sleep center of her brain, meaning she can become drowsy or drift off into a deep sleep after excessive use of her power. Apparently, the amount of mass she transports, the distance she travels, and the number of jumps she makes within a given period of time all contributed to how intense her sleeping spells come on.

She;s actually the illegitimate daughter of a drifter, who had a brief liaison with Edie's married mother. A liaison that was arranged with her husband's approval since he couldn't have kids.
At 12, she manifested her mutant power, which led her and her parents to think she was sleepwalking. She got knocked up a few years later and, after giving birth to her daughter, teleported to Hollywood to pursue an acting career. When that didn't work out, she turned to crime until she learned of the media-savvy X-Force team.
