Powers: Gorgon is a mutant with several genetic advancements. He has Class 2 strength and similarly enhanced levels of speed, agility, endurance, reflexes, hearing, and recuperative powers. He possesses genius-level intelligence, developing his mental faculties and motor skills at an extremely early age and exhibiting advanced problem solving and tactical assessment as an adult. The Gorgon's eyes have a petrifying effect that turns other living beings to stone when he makes eye contact with them. The effect appears to be permanent, and therefore fatal.

Gorgon also has telepathic abilities which help make up for his gaze: He typically wears smoked glasses or a blindfold until he chooses to use his stare, and his telepathic powers allow him to perceive his surroundings even when his eyes are covered. When he first entered a Hand temple blindfolded, he immediately knew the room was bigger on the inside than it appeared from without. Gorgon's telepathy also enables him to scan his environment, picking up on the thoughts of other people. This increases his proximal awareness and lets him anticipate and counter his opponents in battle by reading their intentions. A more thorough telepathic probe enables him to examine someone's memories and communicate with them silently from a distance. He is also a Ninjitsu master with some knowledge of the supernatural arts.
