Real Name: Victor Borkowski

First Appearance: The New Mutants (Vol. 2) #2, August 2003

Powers: Anole possesses a lizard-like mutation that gives him a number of reptilian attributes. He has green skin and a spikey skull-cap carapace in place of hair. He possesses superhuman agility, reflexes, and leaping ability, along with adhesive membranes on his fingers and toes for clinging to and climbing vertical or inverted surfaces. His tongue is both elastic and prehensile, allowing him to stretch it to a few dozen feet long, guiding it like a whip or lasso towards a given target. Anole can also blend in with his surroundings, becoming virtually invisible against his background. He also has hyper-regenerative powers, enabling him to totally regrow a missing limb if it is cut off. After losing his right arm, a larger and spikier version grew back in its place, giving him superhuman strength in that arm.
