FORGET-ME-NOT
Real Name: Xabi
First Appearance: X-Men: Legacy (Vol. 1) #300, May 2014
Powers: Forget-Me-Not's mutant power is to exist in a state of existential superposition, making him difficult to perceive indirectly. Outside of direct
line-of-sight or other immediate forms of perception, he becomes a living quantum
unresolvable. This makes him compulsively forgettable so that people
forget having ever met him, even by the next time they encounter him.
Mechanical systems fail to properly resolve his presence, making him
invisible to electronic surveillance or electronically triggered traps,
computerized targeting arrays, etc.
There are certain ways to circumvent his power: Fantomex's senses were strong enough to continually detect Forget-Me-Not, allowing him to retain awareness of him even when it was non-visual. Professor X could not remember Xabi, however, he made himself remember with a telepathic cue that reminded him at certain intervals. Generally, telepathic awareness of him was rather erratic. Mental contact (like visual contact) could be quickly lost due to distraction.
