SLIPSTREAM
Real Name: Davis Cameron
First Appearance: X-Treme X-Men (Vol. 1) #6, December 2001
Powers: Slipstream is a teleporter whose mutant ability generates a warp-wave, a funnel of displacement energy which rips between quantum space to connect two distant points. Riding the wave can carry him and any additional people and objects he chooses to ferry between those points. He can also open a stable warp-wave to a new location and allow matter to continue to travel from one end to another and back as long as he maintains the effect. He once opened a warp-wave into a disaster area, sending his sister Lifeguard through to gather the injured and bring them back through the funnel to safety.
Slipstream seems to be able to teleport to places he hasn't been before as long as he can visualize the destination, and is capable of detecting other teleportation signatures. Teleporting leaves a small, residual energy signature for a short period of time after the departure and Davis can lock on to this signature to guide his warp-wave, transporting to the same location as the teleportation effect he's tracking. Slipstream is an excellent surfer and uses a hoverboard to fly and surf the warp-wave while traveling, with other passengers buffeted about like the inside of a tornado during transit. When
his power is active, his vision narrows to a pinpoint focus directly
ahead of him to better allow him to safely traverse it.
