Real Name: John Arthur Zander

Powers: Jazz was a mutant whose active x-gene mutation* manifested solely as a blue pigmentation of his skin. He was also a reasonably competent drug trafficker and carried a knife.

*By definition, an active x-gene means the individual has a mutation. It could be an extremely meager or lame mutation (like Jazz) or a godlike mutation (like Franklin Richards). So while Jazz may not have had powers, he was still a mutant.
He was a rapper/drug dealer in Mutant Town. He wasn’t affected on M-Day, but was eventually killed by fellow mutant Johnny Dee.
