TOM CORSI & SHARON FRIEDLANDER
First Appearance: The New Mutants (Vol. 1) #19, September 1984
Powers: Sgt. Thomas Corsi and Sharon Friedlander were a police officer and a hospital nurse in Salem Center, respectively. Originally Caucasians, they were mystically and permanently transformed into Native Americans after an encounter with the Demon Bear. Apart from the cosmetic changes, the mystical transformation gave them both peak-human conditioning, able to lift/press half a ton.
Tom Corsi briefly served in the U.S. Army where he was trained in armed and unarmed combat. He later became an officer for the Salem Center Police Department. An excellent boxer and marksman, he has wielded rifles, pistols, and shotguns at various times.
Sharon Friedlander was a registered nurse specializing in emergency room treatment, able to immediately observe and acutely assess trauma, injury, and acute-onset symptoms in patients.
