Real Name: Anzhela Federova

First Appearance: Moon Knight (Vol. 1) #35, January 1984

Powers: Bora is a mutant with wind summoning abilities. She created a one-way spatial rift that opened into Arctic or Siberian climates, allowing her to draw forth freezing air to her present location. This cold air could rapidly fill a volume of space, creating freezing temperatures and the formation of ice and frost. She could also control the air she summoned to direct high velocity winds able to strike with significant force.

These are powerful enough to incapacitate an ordinary human, or even blow them off the ground. This power was enhanced by her teammate, the Painter, enabling her to blanket the entire city of Manhattan in a blizzard, as well as to form several inches of ice over Spider-Man. The power behind this blizzard was sufficient that not even the thunder god Thor could bring it to a halt.

In addition, Bora’s mutation masked her a full seven feet tall. It is unclear whether she actually possesses superhuman strength, but it is more likely that she has the strength of a powerful athlete of her size. She is an accomplished fighter, using her legs as powerful weapons.
