Real Name: Joshua Guthrie

Powers: Icarus possesses a number of mutations derived from the recessive Cheyaraphim mutant bloodline. The Cheyaraphim are an early sub-species of mutantkind possessing angelic characteristics.

He has large red feathered wings extending out from his back which enable him to fly. The full extent of this ability is unknown, but presumably, his entire anatomy has been adapted for winged flight (hollow skeletal structure, zero body fat, greater proportionate muscle mass, enhanced ocular and respiratory membranes, aerial agility, etc.).

His healing capabilities are phenomenal: He has a regenerative factor in his blood which allows him to instantly recover from multiple fatal injuries without showing any signs of stress in the process. The events leading to his wings being amputated suggested that his healing powers may be based on bio-chemicals of some sort produced within his wings, making his healing powers fail him if his wings are cut off.

Also, he has a superhuman vocal tract and is capable of manipulating his voice in abnormal ways. He can create multiple sounds, resembling a choir of voices all singing at once in harmony. He also demonstrated the ability to harmonize with different melodies and sonic signatures, hitting a range of notes that should be impossible for a normal human's voice box.
