Powers: Porcupine's mutant power allows him to remold both his dermal and skeletal structures in order to sprout razor tipped spikes from his face, body, and right arm. He can launch the spikes from off his body as fast-flying razor-tipped projectiles, and he regenerates them at a high rate of speed to give himself a virtually unlimited supply of ammunition.

He could also use his power to morph his left arm into a misshapen, extended form with elongated fingers and claws which act like extended distorted lances to stab and puncture targets at both close and short ranges.

Real Name: Lorelei Travis

Powers: Lorelei is a mutant born with the power to accelerate and control at will the growth of the hair follicles on her skull. Though her hair is possessed of a modulus of elasticity, it does not have sheer resistance to damage and can be easily cut. However, she can stretch the elastic strands to more than twice on command and also animate her hair mentally, manipulating an individual strand or all of it at once.

She can manipulate solid objects using solely her hair, but the upper weight limit which her hair can support is unknown. It's also unknown as to whether the weight is being supported by psionic particles in the hair, or the hair itself. If the particles are the sole means, then it's the equivalent of tactile telekinesis and she can support the weight by the hair alone. If the strength of the hair itself is the only factor involved in lifting the weight, then Lorelei's neck, spine, etc. would also be bearing the weight, which would be potentially fatal. This would mean that she would have to have at least some of her hair anchored to the ground while lifting weights, acting as a brace to redistribute the weight away from her body.

Real Name: Patricia Hamilton

Powers: The Amazing Merwoman was born with an aquatic mutation which granted her various fish-like features, including scales and webbed fingers and toes. She can breathe on land or underwater via membranes extract sufficient oxygen from ambient water to allow her to function normally while underwater. Because her physiology is adapted for moving through the thicker medium of water, she has greater strength, speed, reflexes and durability than a regular person.

Patricia Hamilton was an Olympic-class swimmer.

Real Name: Daniel Kaufman

Powers: Shaky Kaufman's mutant power was his mutated supra-renal (adrenal) glands. His glands generated an unusual amount of hormones, specifically adrenaline, which altered his cellular metabolism. As a result, adrenaline flowed unchecked through both his brain and body, temporarily enhancing his strength and rendering him unable to feel pain, but also destabilizing his emotional output, leaving him prone to fits of extreme violence.

Real Name: Tarquin Berderaux

First Appearance: District X (Vol. 1) #2, August 2004

Powers: Toad Boy was born with a grotesque physiology that began to produce an addictive and hallucinogenic chemical in his body's secretions when he reached puberty. His mutant power was used as a source for a party drug called “Toad Juice”. It caused pleasant hallucinations in mutants, but can be fatal to baseline humans, causing rapid random mutations often resulting in violent deaths. Tarquin’s mother was both the first to discover his mutant powers and become addicted to their effects. Given that she did not show any extreme reactions to “Toad Juice”, she is either a mutant herself or has some immunity to its negative side effects on humans due to her genetic relationship to Toad Boy and her repeated and prolonged exposure to his secretions.

The full extent of Tarquin’s mutations was reversed by Mister M.

Real Name: Hanna Levy

Powers: Hanna Levy’s mutant power was an altered digestive system and metabolism. Her tongue is both elastic and prehensile, allowing her to stretch it to a few dozen feet long, guiding it like a whip or lasso towards a given target. The rest of her digestive system is mutated for a strict diet of insects. Her body’s gastrointestinal tract can only process insects, breaking them down for their high levels of protein, calcium, iron, and zinc until her cells utilize those elements absorbed from the insects during digestion.

Hanna Levy has a degree in social history and is a researcher for a prominent historical journal.

Powers: Filthy Frankie's mutant power constantly generates volatilized chemical compounds in high concentrations that humans and animals can perceive by their sense of smell. As a result, he produces an intense body odor at all times from his pores, which changes depending on his emotional state. In a content mood, his body will emanate pleasant fragrances, scents, and aromas. When angered, his body would generate a putrid odor.

Real Name: Arturo Falcone

First Appearance: District X (Vol. 1) #2, August 2004

Powers: Arturo Falcone was born with the mutant power to produce quasi-sentient creatures out from inside his body, creating different lifeforms depending on his mood and emotional state. In his youth, he had a happy disposition, so his power spawned small, beautiful creatures. As he aged, his disposition became jaded which was exacerbated by alcoholism, causing his creatures to be more deformed and monstrous.

The creatures he later in life came to produce accumulated under his skin in blisters that aggressively released the lifeforms when popped. The blisters formed anywhere on his body, causing him to painfully release the creatures once when the blisters popped. In his downtrodden middle age, his power and the accompanying blisters caused him constant physical agony.

Powers: Jazz was a mutant whose active x-gene mutation* manifested solely as a blue pigmentation of his skin. He was also a reasonably competent drug trafficker and carried a knife.

Powers: Mister M’s mutant power is absolute control over molecular structures, enabling him to perform any conceivable feat.

An omega-level mutant, he used his power to heal living beings of mental and physical illnesses, produce energy blasts of heat, force, electricity, and nuclear energy, become intangible, genetically transform mutants into humans and even negate or augment mutant powers, generate simulacra of living beings, create force fields, levitate himself and other objects, survive massive injuries, create spontaneous nuclear reactions, repair damaged machinery, evolve life forms, and painfully or lethally scramble organic molecules.

He can turn an opponent inside-out, or exhibit sufficient control over his own molecular structure in order to reach into their chest with an intangible hand and stop their heart. His mind gives off a field of psionic static, making him immune to telepathic probing and creating painful feedback/severe disorientation for any telepath attempting to do so.

His head is crowned with a cluster of tentacles which he typically conceals beneath a fedora. Despite lacking any formal education, Mister M was an avid reader and a self taught authority on a wide variety of subjects.

Real Name: Lucas Bishop

First Appearance: The Uncanny X-Men (Vol. 1) #282, November 1991

Powers: Bishop has the mutant ability to absorb various forms of energy on contact. Once internalized, the energy is normally metabolized into his personal reserves. Energy stored there boosts his natural physical vitality, amplifying his strength, endurance, and reaction time. Despite his enhanced physical build, Bishop's energized strength level easily exceeds a few thousand pounds when fully charged. Physical exertion depletes his additional energy, and he can also release his reserves into bio-concussive blasts generated from his hands. He also occasionally employs plasma rifles which have special conductive grips allowing him to focus his energy into the guns as a power source, using up less energy than his blasts do.

In his early appearances, Bishop demonstrated the power to redirect energy in the same state he had absorbed it. He could, for instance, absorb Storm's lightning and then fire electrical blasts of his own. Bishop was apparently capable of using his personal reserves as raw fuel to feed any energy he was redirecting. In the above situation, this meant he could fire multiple electrical blasts, far more energy than the single lightning bolt he was struck with, by tapping into energies he had previously stored to continue recharging the electrical energy for his use.

He can absorb most kinds of energy, including kinetic, electromagnetic, and psionic. His system works best with active and directed energy signatures, like bio-blasts, laser guns, or electrical power lines. From ambient radiation, sunlight, and static electricity he picks up little to any charge from those sort of passive energies. He also cannot fully overcome solid-based kinetic assaults. Pure kinetic energy blasts or concussive explosions he can adjust to. He can absorb some of the kinetic energy from projectile assaults like bullets or crossbow bolts, but not enough to prevent them from penetrating his flesh. He's also still vulnerable to blunt force trauma or pressure based attacks. He also had a bionic right arm which amplifies his strength, contains retractable wire-guided pincers, and enables time-travel.

Bishop hails from Earth-1191 in an alternate future timeline roughly 100 years from now. In his timeline, he was a member of the X.S.E. (Xavier Security Enforcers), a mutant law enforcement agency inspired by the X-Men. A trained police officer skilled in homicidal investigations, he has many years of armed/unarmed combat training and is a superb marksman.
