Real Name: Veronica Dultry 

First Appearance: The Uncanny X-Men (Vol. 1) #94, August 1975

Powers: Originally a baseline human with no superhuman powers, Veronica Dultry was hired by Count Luchino Nefaria to be a specimen for genetic engineer Kenneth Sturdy, who mutated her into a semi-humanoid being with insect-like features and hypnotic powers.

As Dragonfly, she has fly-like wings enabling her to fly at speeds up 45 miles per hour. She can release a hypnotizing ray through her forehead's antennae, rendering a single victim within 5 feet susceptible to all her commands. Due to her unstable genetic structure, her body absorbs radiation and uses it to further mutate her into a 12' long insect form with the power to control every insect within 200-foot radius. Excess radiation is slowly released (this is expedited in immersion in water), reversing any radiation-inducing mutations. The Consultant's battle armor rendered her bulletproof.

Real Name: Mary Brown

First Appearance: Fantastic Four (Vol. 1) #266, February 1984

Powers: Dr. Mary Brown was a researcher with the Gaylord Cosmetics Corporation and developed a make-up compound that induced near-instantaneous devotion in males. When her employers doubted her claims, she used it to drive them insane, taking up a criminal career as "Karisma".

Karisma uses facial makeup and lipstick composed of long-chain isotopes which emit radiation on specific wavelengths that allow her to mesmerize men, enslaving them but otherwise leaving their personalities unaffected. It works best at close range, and the effect tapers with time and distance; her subjects are generally affected for several minutes. The radiation functions on visible wavelengths, requiring that she be directly seen in order to affect her victims. The radiation is dampened by anything in its path, even clothes. Subjects must see her made-up face to feel the effect, so she must raise her veil to get the full effects of its power. The more makeup she applies, the better the effect, so she goes for function over form. When wearing thick makeup layers, she can affect a dozen men simultaneously, but if exposure is blocked, they regain their senses immediately, with no memories of their mesmerized actions. Women are minimally affected or completely unaffected by this radiation, and thus immune to her control.

Dr. Mary Brown is a gifted intellect with a Ph.D. in radiochemistry, and a B.S. in biochemistry.

Real Name: Philippa Sontag

First Appearance: The Uncanny X-Men (Vol. 1) #211, November 1986

Powers: Arclight was born with the mutant power to amplify the amount of kinetic energy in her own body. She can focus this power through her hands as seismic waves that shatter objects or start earth tremors when she strikes an object. Her mutant ability also gives her superhuman strength (between Class 10-25), endurance, and resistance to physical injury. She is sufficiently strong enough to trade blows with the steel-skinned mutant known as Colossus.
