Real Name: Tatiana Caban

Powers: Catiana is a mutant born with blood-based metamorphic powers. Physical exposure to the blood of mammals (humans and animals) causes her to uncontrollably and temporarily assume their physical characteristics, abilities, and instinct, basically becoming human-sized version of those mammals with an unspecified duration for the transformations.

Contact with canine blood enhanced her senses; as a cat, she developed claws, enhanced speed and maneuverability. When exposed to a human's blood, she physically copies that person, gaining their memories, knowledge, and personality. Whether she can mimic superhuman abilities remains unrevealed.

Real Name: Laura Kinney

Powers: X-23 was conceived via in-vitro fertilization from the DNA of the mutant named Wolverine and Dr. Sarah Kinney and brought to term by her biological mother.

She possesses the same mutant abilities as Wolverine. She has accelerated cellular regeneration which greatly augments her natural strength, speed, agility, endurance, and reflexes. It also grants her superhumanly acute senses of sight, smell (enabling her to identify or track people by scent), and hearing. She also has a fast-healing factor that regenerates damaged or destroyed areas of her cellular structure almost instantaneously. The speed of her healing ability varies in direct proportion to the severity of the damage that she has sustained. Her power can regenerate cells of her nervous system. Her healing ability makes immune to poisons and most drugs. For example, it is nearly impossible for her to become intoxicated from drinking alcohol. She also has limited immunity to the fatigue poisons generated by her own body and hence, has greater stamina then an ordinary human being. Her healing factor also retards her aging process, eventually her age will be indeterminable.

Unlike Wolverine, X-23 has two claws instead of three on each hand, one claw in her foot which shoots out from the middle of her toes. Only her claws are laced with Adamantium instead of her whole skeleton.

KIDEN NIXON

Real Name: Kiden Nixon

First Appearance: NYX (Vol. 1) #1, November 2003

Powers: Kiden Nixon is a mutant born with the power to accelerate her movement in the timestream, causing her to move and operate at tremendous velocity and perceive her environment as if everything is frozen in place. While this technically should accelerate her metabolism and aging process, Kiden's power naturally compensates for this and reduces her metabolic activity to virtually zero as if she were in stasis. Even from her perspective, she can spend relative months in "quick-time" without even getting hungry.

When time is frozen around her, Kiden can move herself and other objects so that they are relocated when time restarts. Thus, other people will perceive her as having dodged bullets, or her or objects to have suddenly appeared or disappeared before their eyes. Kiden can consciously restore time flow to normal around her, or it will automatically do so when she touches another living person. This contact will transfer an enormous amount of kinetic force, since Kiden is technically existing and moving at immeasurably high speeds during "quick-time". Even the slightest touch could therefore be enough to break bones or send a person flying. Why this kinetic transfer only activates when touching living matter is unclear.
