Powers: The Soul Skinner was a mutant telepath. Though capable of all the standard telepathic feats (mind reading, thought casting, mind control, illusions, astral projection, mental energy bolts, etc.), his powers proved to be ineffective on children. He specialized in astral manipulation. His monstrous form was usually an astral manifestation of himself and he was quite advanced in manipulating the astral plane's environment to suit his whims. He was adept at entering the minds of others and bringing forth their greatest anguish, despair and regrets. He could siphon the psionic energy from his victims' emotions in this state, leaving them mindless husks under his mental direction.

Real Name: Wolfgang Heinrich

First Appearance: X-Factor Annual (Vol. 1) #1, October 1986

Powers: Doppelganger is a mutant born with the power to generate a "mental matrix for transference" which enables him to mimic the genetic structure of mutants upon physical contact, transforming himself into their physical double while also duplicating all of their mutant abilities. He was only seen using his power once, against Iceman, so his true potential wasn't fully explored.

His power gave him a mutant proximity sense, enabling him to identify mutants instantly upon meeting them. He required only a few moments' exposure to the mutant in order to replicate their form and powers, and could maintain his assumed state for at least several hours after leaving the presence of the original mutant. His power does not allow him to duplicate memories, nor does it remove the abilities from the template.

Real Name: Alexi Garnoff

First Appearance: X-Factor Annual (Vol. 1) #1, October 1986

Powers: Blind Faith is a mutant telepath who specializes in hypnotic manipulation. He casts psionic energy from his eyes to entrance others, leaving them highly open to suggestion. Once hypnotized, he can command others to perform simple actions upon request, or leave post-hypnotic suggestions in their minds to influence their behavior after they emerged from the trance. In this manner, he can alter someone's memories or compulsively carry out specific instructions without question. He can also telepathically sense all minds in his vicinity.

Alexi Garnoff is an ordained Catholic priest.
