TITANIA

TITANIA

Real Name: Mary MacPherran
First Appearance: Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars (Vol. 1) #3, July 1984

Powers: Mary “Skeeter” MacPherran was subjected to various cellular radiation treatments which left her slight frame augmented by several hundred pounds of muscle, giving her superhuman strength (class 90). She also possesses superhuman endurance and resistance to harm. She can exert her full strength for over an hour before fatigue impairs her performance. She can resist penetration wounds from conventional ballistic weapons and temperature extremes (2,500° Fahrenheit to -180° Fahrenheit). Her rate of healing is over twice that of human being and she is immune to most terrestrial diseases.

She wore sonic field enhancers as gloves that increased her strength by a factor of 10. When she wore the Power Gem, her physical might was limitless, but her bond with the gem depended on her obsessive devotion to a single goal: Destroying the She-Hulk.

Titania is an experienced, vicious, and often treacherous unarmed combatant. She is also emotionally unstable, suffering from obsessive tendencies, misplaced aggression, a persecution complex, and a crippling inferiority complex that alternates with occasional delusions of grandeur.

SHAPER OF WORLDS

SHAPER OF WORLDS

Real Name: Inapplicable
First Appearance: The Incredible Hulk (Vol. 1) #155, September 1972

Powers: The Shaper of Worlds was a Cosmic Cube first created by the Skrull Empire. Like all cubes, it was capable of reshaping reality to fit the whims of the person who wielded it: Creating matter, projecting energy, altering time and space, etc. A Cosmic Cube is actually a nascent cosmic lifeform, though, an "egg" nurtured by exposure to the minds of its wielders until it "hatches", producing a sentient cosmic being. The Shaper of Worlds therefore appears as a Skrull because some (if not all) of his wielders were Skrulls.

The Shaper of Worlds is capable of rearranging reality to suit him just as he could as a Cosmic Cube. He can restructure reality of a volume with a maximum radius of 5,023.2 miles and maintain this restructured reality for a maximum period of 4.23 years. In what appears to be a flaw in his maturation, however, the Shaper has little to no imagination of his own. He can wield his cosmic power for direct purposes such as healing, intergalactic transportation, offensive force, or cosmic awareness, but feats of pure creation escape him. In a "chicken or the egg" scenario, the Shaper is also drawn to the imagination of others, arguably even addicted to it. He compulsively interacts with lesser beings in order to verbally or telepathically extract their desires and make them real. Relying on the minds of others makes the Shaper's creations less real than they could be, too. Although he has the ability to make permanent changes to reality, the dreams and desires of his proxies are not so permanent, leaving reality "fluid" under their influence. If the proxy rejects the Shaper or his power, reality will reset back to its pre-existing state.

MOLECULE MAN

MOLECULE MAN

Real Name: Owen Reece
First Appearance: Fantastic Four (Vol. 1) #20, November 1963

Powers: Owen Reece received his powers when an industrial accident briefly opened a rift into the dimension of the Beyonders, where the energy of a Cosmic Cube first develops. Owen absorbed half of this energy, and gained the power to mentally manipulate matter and energy on a grand scale as a result. He can affect matter on both atomic and sub-atomic levels, as when he transmutes one substance into another; and on the molecular level, as when he mentally manipulates an object's shape. The Molecule Man can levitate and move himself and other matter to a tremendous degree -- following the Secret Wars, he transported an entire suburb of Denver through space at near-light speeds, maintaining atmosphere, temperature, and gravity for the occupants of the land mass.

He can transmute elements in order to change any substance into any other substance. The Molecule Man can also animate matter, such as causing trees to wrap their limbs around his opponents or immobilizing someone by causing the concrete of a street to rise up and entomb them. He has even artificially created life from nothing. Once the Molecule Man effects a change in matter, it remains in its altered state until he consciously changes it back. Even if he's rendered unconscious, the matter remains in its new form.

Reece's face was scarred in a lightning-like pattern by energies of his initial mutation, but he can remove them at will. Owen initially tried to subconsciously restrain his powers, placing psychic blocks that prevented him from affecting organic molecules, and convincing himself he needed a metal wand to focus his powers. For a time, the Molecule Man was actually dead and existing as nothing more than a disembodied consciousness in his wand, possessing the bodies of anyone who picked it up. He eventually reconstructed his own body out of raw materials and transferred his consciousness from the wand into it.
