SUNDER

SUNDER

Real Name: Mark Hallett
First Appearance: The Uncanny X-Men (Vol. 1) #169, May 1983

Powers: Sunder’s mutant power is an enhanced physical body mass which gives him superhuman strength (class 75), size, stamina, and resistance to physical injury. Sunder's enhanced musculature functioned extremely efficiently, producing far less fatigue toxins during physical activities. Under optimal conditions, he could exert himself fully for 24 hours before an appreciably decline set in. Sunder's skin was durable enough for him to withstand the impact from blows, falls or exposure to temperature extremes.

Small caliber bullets could not penetrate his hide, though he remained vulnerable to high yield plasma weapons used by the Reavers. Sunder was unable to break a polymer cable of unknown origin. Having received very little formal training or education, Sunder mostly relied on his brute strength during combat.

CALLISTO

CALLISTO

Real Name: Unrevealed
First Appearance: The Uncanny X-Men (Vol. 1) #169, May 1983

Powers: Callisto’s mutant abilities include enhanced strength, speed, agility, and reflexes. She also possesses superhuman senses that enhance the clarity of her perceptions and regenerative powers. She can see in the dark, track people by scent, demonstrate unerring accuracy, feel activity in her surroundings by subtle changes in temperature and wind direction, etc.

Her mutation also has an intuitive capacity for combat, her subconscious mind can analyze her opponents' strengths and weaknesses as well as the various options provided her by the environment and her available tools, instinctively guiding her towards actions in battle that would prove to be highly effective.

Occasionally, her arms are flesh-shifted by Masque into collections of tentacles that respond to her thoughts. Animated and highly prehensile, these tentacles are strong enough to lift herself and a passenger off the ground and dexterous enough to wield multiple blades at once as close quarters and throwing weapons.
